4. Super Smash Bros.
N64’s impact is strongest in its excellent first-party software and it’s fair to say that the best N64 games shaped the way 3D games are designed, right up to current consoles. N64 car games Hi Mr. Neogaf, thanks for your list - good titles too. Top Gear Rally almost took the #5 spot in my list actually but I found it a bit bland. Nice car control though :)Top ten n64 games
While the PS1 beat the N64 to claim the throne for its console generation, it could be argued that the top games on the N64 were more influential than the premiere PS1 titles. (Which are still great, by the way. We’re not trying to disparage the PS1, an excellent console.) But, like the next two games on this list, Mario Kart 64 is essentially a prototype for its genre. 4. Ogre Battle 64 N64 owners were spoiled when it came to Star Wars games. The best of the bunch is Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, an arcade space shooter set mostly between the events of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. The game sports excellent flight controls, exceptional graphics — as long as you have an expansion pak installed — and amazing sound and music that's true to the source material. Furthermore, thanks to a system that grades your performance and bestows medals at the end of each level, the game features huge replay value.

A racing game with characters from Mario games. The 25 best N64 games you need to revisit And all really do affect the performance. Yet, it did take me a while to get comfortable with making decisions to change from the default but with more time spent with the game I recognised certain tracks would require specific alterations. On tracks with long straights such as Germany’s Hockenhiem the downforce would need to be set low and for Hungary’s twisty-turny one it would be the opposite. For the tight street circuits like Monte Carlo with high risk of damage you would need to consider the suspension setting. Actually, that track specifically is ludicrously tough and guaranteed on your first few attempts you will be hilariously ping-ponging across the barriers (not usually a race-winning tactic).Top 10 n64 games
Hmm, 06 or 07. Both games are pretty much the same. 07 may be a bit faster paced as a game, but they're basically the same. After 07 I feel like they gradually fell off the licensing-train and had a gradual decrease in licensed drivers. The 09 game didn't even have car-badges.
