16 - Dying Light 2 Stay Human
Running over zombies was never so much fun. As the DLC for the main game, Dying Light: The Following cuts out most of the parkour from the original and instead puts you behind the steering wheel in a swathe of almost-spotless countryside. Splatter zombies into chunks of gore as you speed across the fields and leave tyre-tracks in their guts as you take on daring jumps. Just be careful you don't get a zombie head trapped in your windscreen wipers. Dead Rising has become an iconic zombie franchise from Capcom. The same development company that gave fans the Resident Evil franchise decided to create another zombie game series featuring some more over-the-top action gameplay. With Dead Rising 3, players take on the role of a mechanic named Nick Ramos that finds himself having to survive an overwhelming zombie outbreak within the city of Los Perdidos, California. Voodoo zombies Like its predecessor, Dying Light 2 is an open-world zombie game with survival elements and provides players with a ridiculous amount of content. The game looks great, the combat is fast and fluid, and the parkour system ranks among the very best in gaming. Fans of zombie games would do well to check it out, particularly those looking to kill time as well as the undead.
6. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
Just like a sandwich isn’t about the bread, zombie games aren’t about the zombies. Tough metaphor but we made it through. Zombies can vary as well, from the standard slow-moving zombies to Rams, big tank-type zombies that are incredibly fast. The Definitive Edition comes packed with DLC and improved visuals. Of course, unlike an FPS game like games in my best survival shooter games list, we don’t immediately engage in combat and progress through levels. It’s not that type of game. 🙂 6. Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season 1 Zombie genre fans don’t need any introduction to the Plants Vs. Zombies game series. Its unique game delivery got everyone’s attention, and with Plants Vs. Zombies 2, the franchise extended its legacy. The game involves an intense yet hilarious battle between plants and zombies. You can use seed packets and plant food to power up the plants that become the zombies’ nemesis. You can challenge other players in the Arena Battle mode to showcase your strategic dominance.
